About

Dallas County Hospital, originally owned by Dallas County, has been in operation since May 4, 1958. From 1982 to 2002 there was a change in ownership and National Healthcare took over Dallas County Hospital. On September 13, 2002, Dallas County took ownership of the hospital again and renamed it Board of Governors of Dallas County Medical Center D/B/A Dallas County Medical Center.

NaloxHome is a program that will provide free naloxone to hospital emergency rooms to dispense at discharge to patients or caregivers of patients who have experienced an overdose or are at risk for an overdose. By removing barriers to naloxone access, the program aims to save lives.
