TRIBAL OPIOID RESPONSE PROGRAM - This program seeks to improve the systems for addiction treatment and substance abuse prevention for Wabanaki people and address the opioid crisis in tribal communities by increasing access to culturally appropriate and evidence-based treatment, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT) using one of the three FDA-approved medications for the treatment of opioid use disorder (OUD); Eliminate opioid overdose related deaths through the provision of prevention, treatment and/or recovery activities for OUD; Reduce the impact of opioids and contribute to a comprehensive response to the opioid epidemic; training, distribution of naloxone.
