Naloxone is a non-addictive medication that can temporarily reverse an opioid overdose. It can be administered by ANYONE, no medical training required. Any person who is at risk of an overdose or is able to assist an at-risk person (a family member, friend, or roommate) can get naloxone from a pharmacy without a prescription.
